A quick roundup of my favorite things and some gift ideas, on sale during Cyber Week 2023.

Note: I’ve put this together VERY quickly — prices and availability change often. Check back for Black Friday and Cyber Monday additions later this week and next.

I hope you find some fun gifts, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and readers! 🦃

Cyber Week Deals for Travelers

Paravel Fold-Up Bag A gift for the shoppers! Sturdy duffel packs into a small pouch. Slip it in your luggage and fill it with souvenirs on your holiday. Nylon made from 22 recycled plastic water bottles. 💚 Six fun colors; can be mongrammed. $53 with 30% off.

All Birds Wool Runner Mizzles I have Wool Allbirds and love them, they are very comfy and lightweight, great for travel. The Mizzles are a water repellant style. Prices vary by color but around $87 on sale. Still lots of sizes available when I looked.

CalPak Tech Organizer Keep cables and cords organized on your travels; on my wishlist. This highly reviewed organizer comes in 10 plus colors and patterns. $30 with 20% off.  Dagne Dover Arlo Neoprene Tech Organizer Another option, also highly reviewed. I love this brand! $38.50 with the 25% off.

Trtle Neck Pillow This gets rave reviews from Lonely Planet etc., but I don’t own it. $45 10% off.

Monica Vinader Travel Jewelry Case. Comes in three pretty colors. A little pricey but the Italian leather and complimentary monogram make this a special gift. $66.50 with 30% off

Susan Heinrich at Denver Union Station with Monos travel products: the Monos Check-In Medium roller bag in desert taupe and the Metro backpack in black. Monos luggage is featured in her guide, gifts for travel lovers.

Sales on Luggage, Totes & Backpacks for Travel

Two favorite carry-on roller bags are both on sale this week. I have the Monos Carry-On ($204 with 30% discount) my son has the Away Carry-On ($220 with 20% off ). We both travel often and these have held up well. That said, I advise against a light color with Monos, they scuff and mark easily. Also, Monos will charge you to ship it back if you decide to return it (I think it’s $40). One option to avoid this is to purchase it from Nordstrom. Read my extensive Monos Luggage review here

For my personal item, I have the Monos Metro Backpack which I like, but it is pricey. A similar option for less is the Dakota Neoprene Backpack.

When I travel with a tote bag (often), I take my Cuyana Classic tote (30% off). It’s a splurge but gorgeous quality, makes a great gift. Similar but more budget-friendly and on Cyber Week sale are the Madewell totes such as the Medium Transport Tote (50% off with code Cyber).

Favorite Things Home

Brooklinen Down Comforter has rave reviews and is a Wirecutter top pick. Made in Canada using ethically sourced goose and down feathers. Sitewide sale — 20% off. Sale price from $150 (twin/lightweight).

Riley Sheets are an investment and they are fantastic. I have the sateen sheet set; they are soft and silky. And the classic cotton percale sheets are a New York Times Wirecutter best sheets pick. 20% off sitewide for Cyber Week; code HOLIDAY20 at checkout.

One of my Cyber Week purchases is this washable rug from Ruggable (pictured above) for my front hall. The rug detaches from the pad and is machine washable – genius! 20% off sitewide & 25% off select styles including the Sarrah.

Cyber Week Favorites Kitchen

Kitchen Aid 5.5 Stand Mixer: I love to bake and use this several times a week. Lots of fun colors; mine is red. $250

Stagg Gooseneck Electric Kettle  I want to switch to an electric kettle this year. I have a gas stove and it’s just not an efficient way to boil water for tea (several times a day). Love the Scandi vibe of this one. $132

The Ui mug warmer is also a wireless charger, so clever! I’ve added this to my holiday wishlist.

Chic, Affordable Jewelry

My favorite costume jewelry designer, JennyBird, is having a Cyber Week sale of up to 60% off. I have the Dune ring and the Double Dune makes a statement. On sale for $54 from $90. Final Sale so check your size. Gold and silver.

On my wishlist are the Chunky Doune Hoops, a celebrity favorite. Amazon carries them and they are on sale for $90 from $120. I also really like the Gia Bangle. Bangles are a great gift; never an issue with sizing. Gold and Silver. Sale $119 from $140.

Favorite Clothing for Travel & Everyday

These versatile pieces are classics not trendy, which makes them great for travel and easy chic style at home. These are either things I own or very comparable items in style and quality to what I buy.

My current favorite travel pants are by Athleta, the Cosmic Wide-Leg Pant (I am wearing them in the photo above). They feel like yoga pants so are great for a long flight but are chic enough to dress up for the evening. Currently $90 with 30% off. I own many pieces by Athleta and find they are made to last — and it’s a certified B. Corp.

Naadam sweaters. My favorite sweater brand is 50% off for Cyber Monday. I own three of their sweaters and love them all. This crewneck cashmere sweater is great for travel. It’s lightweight yet warm. And the Cashmino Baby Rib Cardigan is another classic. I have it in the sand color. Note that the 50% off sale is final.

J. Crew Cashmere blend poncho. Makes a great gift because one size fits most people. Lots of pretty colors. I bring a similar cashmere wrap on almost all my travels. Sale price $69.50 with 50% off.

Underwater view a surfboard in the ocean off Kaanapali Beach Maui

I bought the GoPro Hero12 a few years ago and love it. It’s easy to use and so much fun to be able to bring in the water. I took this photo of my husband on a surfboard in Hawaii, the first day I used it. $350 (usually $450)

A selection of three alcohol-free cocktails in colorful bottles, orange, purple and red.

Alcohol-Free Cocktails

Holiday festivities can equal a lot of cocktails. I enjoy them but try to limit alcohol. A festive alcohol-free drink is a nice alternative. These ones are well-reviewed; I am ordering a couple during Cyber Week to try this holiday season.

Ritual Alcohol-Free Whiskey Cocktail with a bowl of nuts

Ritual Zero Proof Recreate all your favorite cocktails with Ritual, alcohol-free liquor alternatives that taste like the real thing, thanks to a blend of botanical ingredients. Available in alcohol-free Gin, Tequila, Rum and Whiskey. I am ordering the Whiskey alternative because I love an Old Fashioned or a Whiskey Sour. $25.50 for 750 ml bottles with the sitewide 15% off.

Another brand I want to try is 40% off on Cyber Monday and available on Amazon: Lyre’s American Malt Non-Alcoholic Bourbon.  Sale price is $21.59 for a 750 ml bottle.

If you prefer a G&T, try Lyre’s Dry London Non-Alcoholic Gin.

Compression socks for travel by the company Wellow. Pictures are five pairs in different colors: green, grey, pink, blue, yellow

Stocking Stuffers (more ideas coming)

Apple AirTag $24;  AirTag 4-pack $80 Why risk lost luggage when you can track it with a $20 airtag?

Bombas Compression Socks  I wear compression socks on every long flight (as recommended by my doctor). I’ve tried 4 different brands and Bombas came out on top (now $22.40 with 20% off ) along with Wellow. $20 with 30% off.
